FYI, Rand Paul was held by TSA. Some early reports speculated he could be held indefinitely, but latest says he was eventually allowed to take an alternate flight: news.yahoo.com The way Ron Paul has been treated in the news in relation to his run for the presidency, I have to wonder if this is an escalation of tactics to deter him from spreading his message and/or succeeding politically. Hard to say; TSA mistreats a lot of people . . . and I wasn't there to see what happened. You can read for yourself, but the reports say Rand Paul claims his knee set the scanner alarm off (maybe touching the side?). Subsequently, he requested to pass through again to clear up the issue, but was not allowed. Given only the option of a pat-down, he refused. The report I posted above says Rand Paul said he was detained in a cubical, but TSA says they only escorted him out of the area. Obviously, there's a significant contradiction there. Basically, all the GOP candidates are really scary, with the exception of Ron Paul, as further illustrated at the Destination 2012 republican debate in New Hampshire, January 7. Obama?
