Koin News 6 reports on the Holiday Express derailment with SP 4449 SPS 700.
Darn, well at least they learned a leason if you are going under 40 mph don’t run a double header.
Sad that it happened but the engines weren’t hurt-Thank God!
Still, it brings a tear to the eye.
ouch!
It was nothing. A rail link snapped causing the locomotives to push the rails apart. PW got both locomotives re-railed a few hours later and a few days later both locomotives where re-certified as passenger safe.
d’oh!
