What are good group camping areas near Portland, Oregon?

I need a group camping site that can hold a lot of people, and has a good place to swim in late spring/early summer. Does anyone know a good place close to Portland, Oregon?

    there’s lots of good camping along the Gorge and you hike back in by the waterfalls and swim in the pools. or you could make the drive to the coast and camp by the ocean.

    There should be TONS of camping around PDX and in southern Washington in the National Forests.

    There are many places around Portland to find group camp sites!! Check out our state’s first new state park since 1972. It’s about 30 miles west of Portland. They also have several cabins of various sizes. http://www.oregonstateparks.org/park_255.php.

    Another nice place is Lost Lake on Mt. Hood. fhttp://www.lostlakeresort.org/ They have several nice group sites. I like the ‘no motorized boats on the lake’ policy
